山东省铸造协会是由全省铸件生产企业、铸造设备和材料供应单位、科研、教学与设计院所及广大铸造工作者组成，并在省民政厅注册成立的法人社团（鲁社证字第00038号）。其宗旨是代表和维护行业共同利益，推动全省铸造行业经营管理、生产技术的进步，促进行业生产适应国民经济发展的需要。协会拥有团体会员单位企业312家，其中铸件生产企业270家，铸造设备和材料供应企业42家。会员企业年生产铸件占全省总产量的70%以上。

协会主要工作有：1、开展行业统计工作，推荐行业优秀企业；

2、争取相关产业政策，并监督实施；

3、举办行业会议和展会，开展技术与管理经验交流；

4、为会员提供技术咨询、论证和攻关服务；

5、组织培训行业技术、管理人才；

6、编辑《山东铸造信息》，建设行业“网站”，开展信息交流；

7、承担行业标准的制修订和标准图书的宣贯与发行工作；

8、组织行业的国内外商务考察交流活动；

9、积极为会员单位开拓国内外市场；

Shandong Foundry association, consisting of foundry enterprises, suppliers of casting equipment and material, scientific research academies, colleges and the people working in the foundry field, is a corporate body registered in Civil Administration Office of Shandong Province (No. 00038). As the representatives of the foundry industry, this association aims to maintain the common benefit of the trade by improving the management and production technology so as to enable the trade to be adapted to the requirement of the national economic development. There are 312 members in the Association, in which 270 members are enterprises and 42 casting equipment and material suppliers. The enterprises with the membership produce castings per year, which takes Over 70% of the total casting output in Shandong Province.

  The main activities of the Association are as follows:

 (1) Conducting the statistic work in the casting trade and recommending the outstanding enterprises;

 (2) Working for better trade policies and supervising the carrying out of them;

 (3) Holding trade conferences and exhibitions and encouraging the exchange of techniques and experience of manage among enterprises 

 (4) Offering services, such as technical consultation, verification and tackling key problems for members;

 (5) Organizing the training of technical and managerial personnel;

 (6) Editing the Journal “Casting News of Shandong Province”, building the foundry network and promoting intercommunion among members；

 (7) Publicizing and publishing the trade standards and books;

 (8) Organizing business visit and communication activities at home or abroad;

 (9) Opening up domestic and foreign markets for the members.
